Belle Tire Car Repair Review from Howell, Michigan
I did a number of repairs on my wife's Ford Escape. New Struts, lower control arms, both rear wheel bearing, one front wheel bearing, one tie rod end.
I need new front tires and an alignment, went to Belle Tire in Howell. Very polite, did not have my tires so they ordered them. I returned about 4 hours later, tires were on in a half hour...no alignment. The salesman told me they could not perform an alignment until they made the needed repairs.
New front ball joints and rear wheel bearing. What? The ball joints (complete lower control arm) were replace a month earlier, rear bearings were replaced 2 days (less than 50 miles on them) earlier. When I pointed this out, the salesman just kept his head down typing and never addressed my question.
I've done my own work forever, I am not a professional mechanic, but my brother is. So I drove up to the dealership my brother works at for two reasons 1) verify the components I installed are good and 2) align the front end (still needed that done) He found nothing wrong with any of the components, and the front end was still within specs but did bring the new tierod in close to perfect.
If I had not worked on cars all my life Belle Tire would have taken advantage of that. I will never purchase tires from them in the future.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Belle Tire Cons: Liars working on my vehicle.
Location: Howell, Michigan
